The UK hotels, soft drinks and pubs group, Six Continents, has announced that it is to split into two separate listed companies in April.
The company first announced last year that it was planning the split but had not given a date. Six Continents has now said that it plans for the two separate entities to begin trading independently on April 7.
The two companies will be known as InterContinental Hotels Group and Mitchells & Butler.
