Coming up at this year’s Vinexpo exhibition in Bordeaux:
- Spanish master of wine Pedro Ballesteros will host Different climates, different Spanish wines in Room 4 from 1230 on 18 June. The seminar will explore how different climates influence the different styles of wine found in Spain.
- At 0930 on 19 June Exporting wines and spirits to the USA will take place in Experts Zone – L261. The invitation-only seminar will be in French.
- Also at 0930 on 19 June, the Serbian Sommelier Association will host Wines of Serbia – Beyond Expectations. The event takes place in Room 5 and will look at Serbia as a vine-growing country, new wines of Serbia and will feature a tasting of 18 wines. To request a place, email office@negociant.rs.
- Napa Valley Vintners will host its own wine pavilion at the show. The site will feature representatives from 15 ‘premium’ Napa Valley wine brands. As well as a self-service tasting kiosk, the pavilion will host daily 15-minute seminars at 1100, 1330 and 1600. The Napa Valley pavilion will be in Hall 1/DE-177.
