Coming up at this year’s Vinexpo exhibition in Bordeaux:

  • Closures firm Nomacorc and Tasted 100% Blind will run four masterclasses with sommelier Andreas Larsson. The tastings feature the same wine, with three types of Nomacorc Select Green wine closures, each with different oxygen permeability. The Taste the Difference sessions will run on 18, 19, 20 and 21 June from 1430 in Hall 1 CD Booth 339. To register, click here. 
  • Hine Cognac will be showcasing the new packaging for its H by Hine VSOP, announced earlier this month. The company will also have new livery for Hine Cigar Reserve at the show. Find Hine in Hall 3, S335. 
  • The Irish Spirits Renaissance talk takes place in Room 5 on 19 June from 1530. The session features a selection of new Irish spirits including whiskey, gin and cream liqueur. Speakers include Hugh MacGabhann from Teeling Whiskey Co, Shane Fitzharris from Walsh whiskey, Sean Hanifin from Avondhu/Silver Pail and Patrick Rigney from The Shed Distillery.
