US: WTO to investigate Florida juice import tax
The World Trade Organization is to investigate claims that the US is imposing illegal tariffs on imported orange juice and lumber. The WTO's Dispute Settlement Body has decided that a panel of experts will examine the issue, following complaints from Brazil about a tax imposed by the State of Florida on orange and grapefruit juice. Their deliberations usually take around one year to complete.
