Allied Domecq has unveiled two flavour extensions for the Stolichnaya vodka brand, which it owns the marketing and distribution rights for in the US. Stoli Cranberi and Stoli Citros will join a current Stolichnaya line that includes Stoli Ohranj, Strasberi, Razberi, Vanil and Persik (peach).
“We have a great track record with Stoli and we will continue to build upon that record with the new flavors,” said Simon Cunningham, executive vice president for marketing at Allied Domecq Spirits North America. “Our Razberi and Vanil flavours have the greatest growth rates of any established flavored vodkas and we are very confident about our two new flavors, which we already know are pleasing to consumers’ palates.”
He went on: “Increasing consumer demand for the Stoli brand, coupled with the explosive growth of flavored vodka, which has grown at 27% per year during the past four years, positions Stolichnaya for continuing growth in the years ahead.”
Stoli Cranberi and Stoli Citros will join the Stoli line at retail in June, 2003.
