The soft drinks company, Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. (PBG), has announced it paid its chairman, Craig E. Weatherup, a US$1m bonus for the year to December 28, 2002, against a US$1.3m for the previous fiscal year.
The company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, that Weatherup’s salary rose from US$909,231 in the 2001 fiscal year to US$920,000 in 2002. The company said it did not grant Weatherup any stock options last year.
