Diageo and Schieffelin & Somerset have selected the Alabama Sales Company as their spirits broker in Alabama and the Mississippi Sales Company as broker for spirit and wine brands in that state. The agreements take effect July 2.
The distributors, both joint ventures between The Charmer Sunbelt Group and General Wholesale Company, “are well positioned to help us realise the potential of the premium drinks business in Alabama and Mississippi,” said Ron Anderson, Diageo’s executive vice president for commercial strategy.
