Diageo is to give the world’s best-selling Scotch a packaging face-lift. The company has announced that it is to introduce a new label for Johnnie Walker Red Label marque, following input from more than 400 consumers worldwide.
The new design brings a contemporary look to Red Label, while maintaining many of the existing elements. The square bottle, the slanted label and the Striding Man icon all remain while clutter is eliminated to create a more open appearance. The Striding Man image becomes more prominent on the label.
In a press release, the company said: “The new design brings a contemporary look to Johnnie Walker Red Label, which exemplifies the quality of the product.”
