The re-design will aim to give the bottles and cans a “cleaner”, more contemporary look according to Coke’s chief marketing officer, Stephen Jones. The move is aimed at bolstering the brand’s position as it seeks to battle flat or declining sales and share in mature markets. The last such design tweak was undertaken two and a half years ago.

Soft drinks giant, Coca-Cola Co., is planning to re-design the graphics on cans and bottles of its flagship brand, Coca-Cola, early next year.
