The US wines and spirits company, Brown-Forman, has appointed David C.M. Dearie as president and chief operating officer of its wine division, Brown-Forman Wines, with immediate effect. He replaces Thomas Burnet who resigned from the company in August.
“David Dearie brings a wealth of business experience to the leadership of our Brown-Forman Wines organisation,” said William M. Street, president of Brown-Forman. “Most importantly, he has many years of valuable experience as a retailer, distributor, and supplier in the wine and spirits business, so he truly understands all facets of the trade.”
