The US bank, Banc of America, has raised its rating on the US-based spirits and wine group, Brown-Forman, from “sell” to “neutral”, following the company’s announcement that it is planning to buy back 8.3m shares.
Banc of America said Brown-Forman’s buyback strategy demonstrates the management’s confidence in the company’s outlook.
