The US brewing giant, Anhueser-Busch, has raised its earnings growth forecast for 2003. The company said it is now forecasting earnings per share growth of 12% to 13% for 2003, against a previous forecast of 12%.
“Industry fundamentals remain very attractive, and our domestic beer company has roughly a 50% market share and continues to enhance its substantial competitive advantages,” said CEO, Patrick Stokes. The company also said it is expecting earnings per share growth of 12% in 2004.
A First Call poll of analysts projected earnings per share growth for 2003 of 12.7%.
