Diageo has completed another share buyback transaction. The drinks giant said yesterday (9 May) that it has purchased a further 250,000 ordinary shares to be held as treasury shares.
The transaction, through CSFB Europe Ltd, valued the shares at 786.27 pence per share.
Diageo said that it now holds 75.305m ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of remaining shares in circulation is 2,974,886,339.
