The Turkish beer and malt producer, Anadolu Efes, recorded a net profit for 2002 of TL26 trillion (US$15m/€14.1m) against a net loss of TL14.1 trillion (US$8.1m/€7.7m) in 2001.

Pre-tax profits reached TL45.7 trillon (US$26.3m/€24.8m), the company said, while operating profit rose from TL66.8 trillion (US$38.5m/€36.3m) in 2001 to TL80.7 trillion (US$46.5m/€43.9m) in 2002.

Gross turnover rose from TL338.1 trillion (US$194.9m/€183.8m) to TL443.8 trillion (US$255.8m/€241.2m).
