Turnover at the Swiss mineral water and soft drinks group, Henniez, rose by 5.2% in 2002 to SF156.1m (US$114.7m€107m).
Combined volumes of water and soft drinks rose from 201m bottles in 2001 and 210m bottles in 2002, Henniez reported, in spite of unfavourable weather conditions in the second half and adverse economic conditions affecting the hotel and restaurant sector.
Henniez sold 134.3 million litres of the mineral water brands, Henniez, Cristalp and Vichy Celestins, representing a 2.3% increase from last year. Volumes of the fruit juice brands, Granini and Hohes C, rose by 20.2% to 23m litres.
