Spanish wine exports rose by 0.59% in value terms in 2002 to €1.484 billion (US$1.627 billion), according to data released by the Spanish wine federation, FEV. However, sales of bottled wines with appellation of origin rose by 5% to €696m (US$763.23m), and by 2.2% in volume to 245m litres.
