Wine exports from the Castille-La Mancha wine region in central Spain fell by 4.3% in 2002 to €154m, the Spanish Wine Federation (FEV) has reported.
Export volumes fell by 8.3% to 278m tonnes, while wine prices were down 7.3%. However, exports of appellation of origin wines from the region rose by 2.3% to €72.5m (US$78.76m).
