Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) has opened its second brewery in Vietnam. The brewery will be run by APB’s 96% owned subsidiary Hatay Breweries Ltd.
Agence France Presse said yesterday that the $65m brewery is located in the northern province of Ha Tay. The brewery’s commercial bottling operations were officially inaugurated on Tuesday by George Yeo, Singapore’s Ministry for Trade and Industry.
Production began on October 27, producing Tiger and Heineken.
