By GlobalDataThe Russian brewer, Yarpivo, reported that its sales had risen by 41% in January to June 2002 to 23.5m decalitres. Sales revenues were up some 65%, the company said, to Ru2.3 billion. Yarpivo said the boost in output had stemmed from upgrades in its production facilities. Yarpivo, which is 60% owned by the BBH beer group, has a 6% share of the Russian domestic beer market with Yarpivo and Volga its main brands.
