The Russian dairy and fruit juice group, Wimm-Bill-Dann (WBD), is reported to be in negotiations to acquire the Russian mineral water company, Tselebny Istochnik, which markets the Essentuki mineral water brand.
According to the reports, Wimm-Bill-Dann is looking to pay around US$5m for the Essentuki brand, which is produced in the Caucuses mountains. The brand has around 7% of the mineral water market in Russia.
