The Russian brewer, Sun Interbrew, posted a net loss according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) of €8.8m in the first quarter, representing a 13% increase from the €7.8m net loss in the first quarter of the last fiscal year.
Sales revenues in the January-March period fell from €84.1m to €82.9m, though the company said that beer sales in volume terms rose by 8.3% to 260m litres.
