The Portuguese wine group, Aveleda, recorded turnover of €26m ($27.3m) for 2002, up 8.8% from €23.9m ($25.1m) in 2001.
Aveleda said volume sales in Portugal were up by 25% in 2002 and it sold more than 13m bottles to 90 international markets.
Aveleda is a privately owned company whose principal brands include Casal Garcia, Quinta da Aveleda and Aveleda Alvarinho.
