The Polish brewer, Brok Strzelec, has posted a consolidated net loss for the first quarter of 2003 of PLN2.3m (US$612,000/€535,000), compared with a net loss of PLN500,000 (US$133,000/€116,000) in the first quarter of 2002.

Strzelec also recorded a pre-tax loss of PLN2.6m (US$692,000/€605,000), against a pre-tax loss of PLN300,000 (US$80,000/€70,000) in the corresponding period last year.
