The Greek-based soft drinks group Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC) has announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Polish mineral water company, Multivita, from food group, Maspex.
CCHBC has jointly purchased 100% of Multivita in partnership with the Coca-Cola Company. No financial details have been released.
The deal, part of CCHBC’s strategy to expand its non-carbonated beverages activities, was originally announced in May. Included in the purchase are the Multivita brand and production facilities at Tylicz.
“Poland is a key developing market for CCHBC,” said CCHBC’s managing driector, Doros Constantinou. “The addition of this quality water brand is an excellent example of CCHBC’s strategy to broaden the selection of non-alcoholic beverages we offer to our customers.”
