The New Zealand wine company Oyster Bay Marlborough Vineyards is to list on the stock exchange’s new AX market.
The company expects to list following its annual general meeting in November.
Chairman Bill Falconer said: “We have been on the unlisted board now since the company was formed four years ago. That will cease to operate and we need to provide our shareholders with an appropriate means of trading and securing some liquidity for their investment,” Mr Falconer said.
He said he hoped the listing would encourage investment.
Last year, Oyster Bay made an after-tax profit of NZ$326,224 from revenue of NZ$1.9m in the 2002 financial year, and had assets of over NZ$24m.
