The Mexican soft drink bottler Embotelladoras Arca saw its 2002 sales volumes reach 410.3 million unit cases, up from 406.3m unit cases in 2001.
The company’s net profits were 1.26 billion pesos for 2002 compared to 1.27 billion pesos a year before. Net sales fell, however, to 13.19 billion pesos compared to 13.85 billion a year before a price cuts in some markets kicked in.
Operating profit was also down as a result to 2.32 billion pesos from 2.73 billion pesos a year before.
