The new coffee unit is also said to be involved in the marketing, export, import, storage and distribution of these products.

By GlobalDataMahou is assessing several options in order to enter this new drinks area, unnamed company sources told Expansión, and decided to create a new business to bring in “new resources” into the company if needed.
The move follows a series of new category entries by the Alhambra Reserva 1925 brewer this year.
In July, the business announced the launch of an energy drink brand called Refeel.
At the time, the group described the energy-drinks market as “one of the fastest-growing both in Spain and abroad”.
It said the product “responds to the growing demand for alternatives aligned with a healthy and balanced lifestyle among consumers in this segment”.
Earlier in April, the business added a line of wine-based drinks to its portfolio under the brand Los Cachis.
Mahou, which already sells the Bendito vermouth brand in Spain, said it was aiming for the range to be consumed during the country’s regional festivals, such as the Feria de Málaga.
At the time, it said it was hoping to bring in younger adult drinkers with the Los Cachis products.
