Following Laubies’ appointment to the role of CEO in April, Just Drinks understands that Lipton named him as a permanent CEO to give some certainty to the company’s staff and partners while the company continued to look for a new chief executive.

The plan was for Laubies to move back to the supervisory board when a new chief executive was found.

He had previously been chair of the supervisory board since 2022.

Lipton’s incoming CEO Busain has spent most of his career with Heineken, first joining their finance team in 1995.
