Liviko, the Estonia-based drinks group, has signed a deal to distribute Bacardi-Martini products in Latvia.
The deal, which hands Liviko exclusive distribution of Bacardi and Martini brands in Latvia, enhances the group’s ambition to become a pan-Baltic drinks producer and distributor.
“As a rising alcohol group in the Baltic states, Liviko is glad that representation and sale of the Bacardi-Martini group products in Latvia have been trusted to our subsidiary,” said Janek Kalvi, Liviko CEO.
Bacardi-Martini were previously distributed in Latvia by Mono M, which is a subsidiary of SPI Group.
Liviko, which dominates its domestic market, largely via its Viru Valge vodka brand, is the number three alcoholic drinks group in Latvia.
Kalvi told just-drinks in an interview last year that the group has gained share on its rivals, including SPI Group, in Latvia and Lituania, since entering the countries in 2007.
