The Korean spirits producer, Jinro Group, which is currently under court administration, claimed a 54% share of the country’s Soju market in the first six months of 2003.
The overall soju market in Korea increased by 7.3%. Jinro said that it expects to increase its share of the market to 55% by the end of the year, with its own sales forecast to rise by 10% for the full year.
