By GlobalDataYebiga Bela is the company’s second ‘Rakija’, a Serbian fruit brandy made from domestically-grown plums. The 40% abv extension follows the company’s 18-month-minimum aged 43% abv PRVA expression, unveiled in 2019.
The new iteration is available now at an SRP of US$29.99 in selected retailers in California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and Washington DC.
Yebiga, and its parent company Iztok, were founded by former American rock musician Bill Gould in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
Gould is not the only US musician to launch a spirit recently. Last month, former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar unveiled Santo Resposado Tequila, the latest expression from his Santo Spirits joint venture with celebrity chef Guy Fieri.
