Indian brewing group, United Breweries, has posted a reduced net loss for the full 2002/2003 fiscal year. The company reported a consolidated net loss of Rup90.5m against Rup247.6m in the previous fiscal year.
Consolidated gross sales rose by 69% from Rup3.24 billion to Rup5.49 billion.
On a standalone basis, United Breweries posted a profit of Rup14.4m against a loss last year of Rup93.9m last year, while gross sales rose by 86.16% to Rup5.15 billion.
