The Hungarian spirits group, Zwack Unicum Rt, has posted a pre-tax profit for the first half of 2003 of HUF803m, down by 22% from HUF1.03 billion in the first half of 2002.
Net sales at Zwack, best known for its Unicum bitters brand, fell marginally from HUF7.41 billion to HUF7.34 billion, while operating profit decreased from HUF1.02 billion to HUF838m.
