Halewood Artisanal Spirits is expanding the Dead Man’s Fingers brand beyond rum with a reposado Tequila expression.

The 40% abv iteration, which is released in Halewood’s home market of the UK this month, comprises Tequila from an unspecified source that has been aged in Bourbon barrels. A 70cl bottle carries an SRP of GBP22 (US$29) in the off-premise channel.

Halewood acquired Dead Man’s Fingers when it was a pure-play rum brand back in 2018.

“Dead Man’s Fingers is about challenging convention and shaking up the rules,” said the brand’s global marketing manager, Rachel Adams. “We’ve seen huge success within the rum category with our spiced, white and flavoured variants which continue to attract incremental shoppers. Now, we’re bringing this same energy into the Tequila category.”

Today’s been lively for Halewood, with the announcement of a spiced addition to the Whitley Neill gin stable.
