GERMANY: Rotkaeppchen aims to boost market share in western Germany
The German sparking wine company, Sektkellerei Rotkaeppchen, based in the former East Germany, is aiming to double its market share in the western German sparking wine market to 6% to 7% by 2005. The company acquired production facilities in western Germany from Seagram in 2001 and expects the incorporation of these activities to boost turnover to €300m (US$263.2m) in 2002 against €151m last year.
