Pernod Ricard chairman and CEO, Patrick Ricard, said he was “satisfied with this performance which, barring a sudden downturn in the economic environment, puts the group on track to reach its targets for 2002”. Ricard also added that the integration of the Seagram businesses was proceeding as planned.
FRANCE: Pernod Ricard reports 18% rise in H1 revenue
The French drinks group, Pernod Ricard SA, has recorded revenue of €1.38 billion in the second quarter from March to June, 14% up from €1.21 billion in the same period last year. Revenue for the first half of 2002 was up by 18% at €2.57 billion which was towards the upper end of analysts' forecasts.
