Pernod Ricard’s shareholders have approved a cash dividend of EUR1.34 (US$1.84) per share for the drinks firm’s most recent fiscal year.
Shareholders approved the payment at Pernod’s annual general meeting today (10 November). An interim dividend of EUR0.61 per share has already been paid to shareholders. A further EUR0.73 per share will be paid on 17 November.
The Absolut vodka owner will also have a new independent director. Susan Murray, who is also an independent director at Imperial Tobacco and UK pub group Enterprise Inns, will sit on Pernod’s board for four years.
