However, while Laurent-Perrier said it was well placed to capitalise on the recovery in the Champagne market, it was more conservative in its growth forecasts for the full year, predicting revenue growth for the year of 10%.
FRANCE: First quarter sales up 24% at Laurent-Perrier
The Champagne company, Laurent-Perrier SA, has reported a 24% leap in revenues in the first quarter of the current fiscal year which it attributed to both higher sales volumes and prices. The company stated that sales in the three months to the end of June rose from €27m to €33.4m.
