Hansen Natural has said its contracts with Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) will need to be “addressed carefully” in the wake of CCE’s deal with The Coca-Cola Co last week.
Hansen Natural, producer of the Monster Energy drink, last week reported net sales for the 12 months to the end of December of US$1.14bn, a 10.6% increase on 2008.
Net profits for the year leapt by 93% to $208.7m, helped on by a rise in sales and market share of the firm’s flagship Monster Energy drink since the group began a distribution deal with Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) at the start of 2009.
