Carlsberg is holding an internal investigation into its Swedish unit’s role following the Systembolaget scandal.
Reuters has reported today that, following a probe into Sweden’s state brewer Vin & Sprit for alleged bribes to Systembolaget’s branch managers, Carlsberg is to launch an extensive review of its own organisation.
Carlsberg’s information manager Margerethe Skov told Reuters: “We started the internal investigation two weeks ago and will hopefully finalise it within two weeks.”
