The Canadian water and soft drinks producer, StonePoint Group, has recorded net sales for the year to the end of December 2002 of C$24.36m, up 100% from C$12.04m the year before.

The company posted a gross profit of C$2.24m, against a gross profit the year before of C$1.18m. However, Stonepoint registered a net loss of C$2.18m reflecting ongoing investment in growing the business.

“With increasing sales and recent cost-cutting measures, StonePoint is working diligently to manage growth with the goal of achieving profitability in 2003,” said the company’s CEO, James Borkowski.
