Campari Group has launched a limited-edition expression of its Glen Grant Scotch whisky brand that has been aged for 60 years.

The Glen Grant Dennis Malcolm 60th Anniversary Edition was bottled from an ex-Oloroso Sherry cask that was filled on 24 October 1960, making it the single malt brand’s oldest whisky to date. Dedicated to Glen Grant’s master distiller, Dennis Malcolm, the release is limited to 360 70cl bottles.

“Dennis has not only created some of the most-awarded single malts in the world, but also serves as an unwavering champion for the industry,” said Campari CEO Bob Kunze-Concewitz. “His unrelenting passion for consistent quality in everything he creates is revered on the world’s stage by connoisseurs, collectors and aficionados.

“We are honoured to work beside such a legend and this refined, remarkable liquid is a luxurious homage to a life spent doing what he loves most.”

Last month, the Aperol brand owner launched an RTD in the UK featuring its namesake aperitif with soda.
