The Bulgarian press reported today that the country's monopoly authorities had given the green light for a licensing agreement signed between Belgian brewer Interbrew and Bulgarian brewery Kamenitza. The Bulgarian Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) said the deal, which will see Kamenitza licensed to use the Stella Artois lager production technology and trademark, did not contradict the country's Protection of Competition Act.
