Bottega has become the latest producer to announce the release of a rosé Prosecco expression. The company said this week that Il Vino dei Poeti Prosecco Doc Rosé Brut will be released across Europe in the coming days. The wine is a blend of 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir.

“The innovative rosé version, which has been discussed for some years now, represents an important novelty for the world of Prosecco DOC and sparkling wines,” the company said.

Bottega is a family owned company located in Bibano, Treviso.The announcement by Bottega follows moves by several Prosecco producers to roll out rosés after the Italian government’s approval earlier this year of the production of rosé Prosecco.
