Volumes rose from 127.7 million litres to 131.1 million litres. Sales to the catering sector totalled 16.9 million litres in 2001, a rise of 2.4%, while sales to the grocery sector rose to 120.8 million litres from 114.7 million litres in 2000. Exports increased by 12.2% to 3.7 millon litres.
