Red Bull Australia has announced that from 7 July this year, it will form a distribution alliance with Cadbury Schweppes, in the country.
Cadbury Schweppes’, according to a statement has been looking to continue the development of its brand portfolio with an energy drink and Red Bull Australia has been seeking ways to extend the availability of the drink.
“We are very excited about this partnership and the opportunity to expand Red Bull’s current distribution,” said Stuart MacLean, managing director, Red Bull Australia.
“This venture will allow more consumers to have access to Red Bull and therefore benefit from the proven positive effects of Red Bull when they are in need of energy.”
Cadbury Schweppes managing director ANZ, Mark Smith commented: “We are delighted to add Red Bull to the outstanding beverage portfolio we offer. It’s a strategic and complimentary addition to our range.”
“This is a tremendous deal for Red Bull Australia,” said Mike Stacey, sales director, Red Bull Australia.
