Carlton & United Breweries (CUB), the Australian brewing subsidiary of Foster’s Group, has announced that it has completed its acquisition of Bulmer Australia, the former Australian division of the troubled UK cider group, HP Bulmer.
The A$63m deal, announced in December, was subject to two pre-conditions, Australian regulatory approval and HP Bulmer shareholder approval. Foster’s said those conditions had now been met.
