Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd has today announced the sale of Neverfail Springwater Ltd trademarks and associated intellectual property. Neverfail passes to The Coca-Cola Company for around A$28m (US$20.28m).
During its takeover of the water company, CC-Amatil disclosed its intention to sell the trademarks to Coca-Cola, the company said.
CC-Amatil also said that it has entered into a long-term licence agreement with Coca-Cola for the use of the Neverfail trademarks with the licence fee fixed at a rate that allows both companies to achieve returns in proportion to their respective investments.
