A joint statement said the portfolio brings “an expanded range of premium spirits, liqueurs, and aquavits” to the UK market and will help it unlock “new market opportunities” across the country.
Jonathan Marsh, the managing director of Quintessential Brands’ UK, Ireland & Europe unit, said: “Anora’s portfolio represents world-class quality and heritage. We look forward to building a long and successful partnership, accelerating the presence and market share of these distinctive brands across all UK channels.”
Anora Group’s director of travel retail and “expansion markets” Bo Madsen added: “Quintessential Brands brings impressive route-to-market expertise and a proven track record in the United Kingdom.
“We see tremendous growth potential in expanding our cooperation with these iconic brands, and together, we look forward to bringing a strong, premium Nordic portfolio to United Kingdom consumers.”
Just Drinks has approached both Quintessential Brands and Anora for further details on the agreement and the latter’s current presence in the UK market.
The appointment is the latest in a string of partnership announcements from Anora in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, the Finnish group finalised an agreement to distribute Bacardi’s portfolio in Sweden and Norway until the end of the first quarter of 2031.
The deal covers brands including Bacardi rum, Bombay Sapphire gin and Grey Goose vodka.
In late September, Anora’s subsidiary Bibendum secured an exclusive agreement to manage VSPT Wine Group’s entire Swedish portfolio from 1 January 2027 through 2029.
Anora has maintained its full-year 2026 guidance for comparable EBITDA of €74m to €79m, up from €71.1m in 2025.
In the first half of 2026, the company’s net sales fell 3.4% year-on-year to €296.3m, while EBITDA dropped 15.3% to €19m.
