Additionally, Anheuser-Busch announced PGA tour golf player Harold Varner III as an ambassador for the new RTD, which the company describes as “a true golfer’s cocktail”.

Financial terms and the length of the deal with Varner were not disclosed.

“By using our high-quality ingredients and a precisely proportioned recipe, we’ve created a canned Transfusion that’s consistently delicious, and can be enjoyed anywhere – on or off the [golf] course,” said Cutwater’s co-founder, Yusuff Cherney.

A-B InBev’s acquisition of San-Diego-based Cutwater in 2019 served as the world’s largest brewer’s entry into the spirits category.
